As a Locum MD in Primary Care you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients diagnosing and treating various health conditions and ensuring continuity of care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and manage patient care
- Collaborate with nurses and medical staff to ensure quality patient care
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Participate in patient care team meetings and case discussions
- Stay updated with current medical practices and guidelines
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in California
- Experience in primary care or related field preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
- No call requirement
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Patient Census: 8-12 per day
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
