Job Summary

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing loss prevention and security field operations and programs that protect the human and material resources of the Corporations assets throughout APAC as assigned by the APAC LP Director. Current divisions in area of responsibility include Performance Coatings Group Global Supply Chain and Corporate functions. The position safeguards the companys human financial and intellectual assets by bridging the gap between rigorous internal controls and proactive physical security.

Responsibility for the protection of assets of Sherwin-Williams in APAC as assigned by the LP Director.

Investigate in an appropriate manner all internal/ external incidents of dishonesty or irregularities that impact on the profitability of the Corporation; or where there exists the possibility that a criminal act has been committed on corporate property or against the corporate interests to determine cause extent of loss and provide appropriate controls to prevent future occurrences. This will entail direct involvement in the criminal justice system including presentation of evidence and testimony in accordance with legal procedure.

Develop and implement policies procedures and administrative controls based on effective principles of risk analysis and loss prevention that are directed toward the reduction or elimination of incidents/events that can contribute to or cause losses of corporate assets and support the effective operation of our facilities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
a)Comprehensive Asset Protection & Risk Mitigation - Lead the development and implementation of proactive Loss Prevention (LP) projects and policies to safeguard the Companys human financial and information assets. Proactively identify and mitigate internal and external threats to ensure operational continuity protect corporate resources and uphold the Companys brand reputation across all APAC business units.
b)Operational Risk Assessment & Facility Security Governance - Oversee on-site facility evaluations and comprehensive LP survey programs to identify security-related vulnerabilities. Provide actionable cost-effective recommendations to improve local protection levels and ensure that all Global Supply Chain and manufacturing sites comply with corporate security standards and internal control requirements.
c)Professional Investigations & Incident Management - Manage and conduct professional investigations into security breaches asset losses employee misconduct and criminal activities. Deliver timely and accurate reporting with a focus on root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence and minimize subsequent risks to the organization.
d)Compliance & Anti-Bribery Program Oversight - Drive the implementation of internal controls and anti-bribery compliance programs across multiple locations. Partner with Compliance Legal and Internal Audit to monitor regulatory exposure and ensure that business operations align with corporate governance standards and ethical mandates.
e)Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Partnership - Act as a key advisor to regional business leadership Finance Legal and HR to address control gaps and implement corrective actions. Foster strong partnerships with law enforcement agencies and professional LP organizations to maintain industry-leading security standards.
f)Training Awareness & Culture Building - Promote a culture of accountability and risk awareness through the design and delivery of comprehensive training programs. Educate the workforce on critical LP topics including employee safety asset protection and whistleblowing ensuring consistent messaging throughout the APAC region.



Qualifications

FORMAL EDUCATION
:
Bachelors degree or above in Accounting Auditing law Criminal Justice or related disciplines

:
CFE/CFI/CPP/CIA or similar professional certification


& EXPERIENCE:
:
3 to 5 years of experience in loss prevention Corporate Security internal control audit Compliance management or risk management roles

:
Proven experience handling asset loss investigations or fraud-related cases
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
:
This position requires mobility to travel by car and commercial transportation including airline approximately 20% of the time;
Requires excellent investigative and interview skills excellent communication (Written and verbal in English and Chinese) and inter-personal and management skills.
Must be able to interpret analyze and reconstruct internal reports and documents that lead to the identification of variables or factors responsible for security related financial losses.
Be familiar with the up-to-date physical security technologies including access control system CCTV and alarm system and surveillance techniques and use of video and still photo cameras.
High integrity detail oriented strong sense of ownership and sound judgment

:
Work experience in Law Enforcement Department(s) is preferred.
Holder of certificates of recognized international professional associations such as ASIS ACFE IIA is preferred.
