The Lancashire authorities are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to take on the role of Local Government Reorganisation Programme Director. This is an exciting andhigh-profile opportunity to lead one of the most significant transformation programmes in local government shaping the transition to new unitary authorities and helping to deliver Lancashires long-term ambitions for reform collaboration and improvement.
We are looking for a credible and politically astute programme leader with substantial experience of large-scale transformation strong partnership skills and the ability to work confidently across complex stakeholder environments. You will bring strategic vision excellent judgement and a track record of delivering change at pace in the public sector or similarly complex settings.
You will:
- Lead Lancashires Local Government Reorganisation programme at a pivotal moment of change.
- Work with senior leaders elected members partners and Government on a complex high-impact agenda.
- Help shape future governance service delivery and organisational design across Lancashire.
- Play a central role in aligning reorganisation with wider devolution ambitions.
