Certified Surgical Technologist Travel Assignment

Shift: 8-Hour Days 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Navitas Healthcare LLCis seeking an experienced and certified Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment within the Operating Room department. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong orthopedic and robotic surgery experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Schedule Details

• 8-Hour Day Shifts
• 5 Shifts Per Week
• Weekend holiday and call coverage required
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly

Position Requirements

• Active NBSTSA or NCCT Certification required
• Prior travel experience required
• Orthopedic surgical experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience required
• BLS Certification required
• Approved pharmacology course or prior medication experience with successful medication exam completion
• Strong understanding of sterilization cleaning and disinfection procedures for OR instrumentation and equipment
• Ability to work under the supervision of an RN in the Operating Room setting
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes if called in

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile surgical environments
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment
• Perform scrub duties with precision and efficiency
• Support patient preparation and perioperative care
• Assist with departmental responsibilities and precept new staff as needed
