QA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies creating test cases validating complex datasets and building automation frameworks using Python and Selenium. This role requires strong analytical and debugging skills hands-on experience with modern web technologies and confidence in working with data using SQL and Excel beyond basic formulas and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Execution

• Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases
• Perform functional regression integration API and cross-browser testing
• Validate application data reports and business logic using SQL and Excel
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain test documentation

2. Automation & Tools

• Build and maintain automation scripts/frameworks using Python and Selenium
• Work with APIs and automation tools such as Postman
• Use Jira for defect tracking and collaborate with teams to resolve issues

3. Debugging & Monitoring

• Investigate troubleshoot and document defects and application issues
• Use browser DevTools logs and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Elastic for analysis and debugging
• Proactively identify risks edge cases and potential quality issues

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with developers product managers and business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle
• Support release validation and post-deployment verification as needed

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related
• 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Strong proficiency in Python and Selenium WebDriver
• Strong SQL including experience handling and validating large datasets
• Strong Excel skills with experience in using advanced functions such as VLOOKUP XLOOKUP INDEX-MATCH Pivot Tables and handling large datasets
• Experience with API testing using Postman
• Good understanding of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript)
• Experience with functional regression integration and cross-browser testing
• Strong debugging and analytical skills including use of browser DevTools
• Experience with Jira Git and defect tracking processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation reporting tools (Allure pytest reports etc.)
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Elastic (ELK Stack)
• Experience with release management and deployment validation
• Knowledge of performance and/or security testing
• Experience testing data-heavy applications dashboards or analytics platforms
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
