A well-established commercial plumbing contractor in the San Jose area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
This individual will play a key role in managing schedules budgets subcontractors vendors and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently and profitably.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial plumbing construction projects from kickoff through closeout
- Coordinate with field teams Superintendents foremen subcontractors and vendors
- Track project schedules budgets RFIs submittals change orders and procurement
- Review construction drawings specifications and contract documents
- Maintain communication with general contractors owners engineers and project stakeholders
- Monitor project costs and help maintain profitability goals
- Attend project meetings and provide regular project updates
- Assist with buyout and material procurement activities
- Ensure projects are completed safely on time and within budget
- Support field operations and help resolve project issues proactively
Qualifications
- 5 years of Project Management experience within commercial plumbing or mechanical construction
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction processes
- Experience managing commercial projects such as healthcare multifamily office industrial education or mixed-use developments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
- Strong communication organizational and leadership skills
- Experience with project management and construction software platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranging from $120000-$160000 depending on experience
