Position Responsibilities

Preparation of fee for service and NDIS invoices manage claims and monitoring of plan funding and fee for services invoices.

Day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions ensuring completeness and timeliness of payments.

Payroll processing ensuring compliance with SCHADS (Social Community Home Care and Disability Services) Award and enterprise agreement.

Supporting the Finance Manager and the finance team generally.

Reconcile the general ledger account to ensure validity and accuracy.

Review cash activities within the company ensuring appropriate internal financial controls exist and where identified implement initiatives for improvement.

Facilitate the investigation and timely resolution of variances.

Conduct cut-off processes at the end of each month.

Review and understand the process underlying the recording of debits and invoices.

Review aged debtors reports on a weekly basis.

Assistance with audit procedures and queries

Issue invoices on behalf of the company and ensure prompt payment of the same.

Maintain the companys fixed asset register and inventory.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will beswitched on and able to jump right in. There is a significant amount of interaction with key stakeholders across the business so strong and clear communication is a must. Other key requirements for the successful individual include

• Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft products and in particular a high level of competency using Excel and its advanced features.
• Accuracy and attention to detail with strong IT and analytical skills to extract analyze and report key data in a meaningful way
• Current Working with Children Card Criminal History Check and NT Drivers Licence is the requirement for the role.
