Job Summary

What will you do as a Customer Service Associate
As an Amazon Customer Service Associate you have a very clear purpose: to prevent issues solve queries and delight our customers. Youll be the first point of contact for our customers by answering their requests through phone chat and/or email this includes everything from order and product questions to payment matters and website guidance. Our Customer Service Associates use a variety of tools to navigate research and review solutions and communicate effectively with customers.

What are your hours
This role requires working variable hours to match when customers need us most. You will work overnight/day/late shifts and your work week is minimum 40 order to match our customer demand we schedule based on a variety of different shift patterns within the operating hours of 6am and 11 pm Sunday to Monday. You may be required to work national holidays. You will learn more about your exact schedule closer to your start date.

Key job responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer customer requests through phone chat and email
Navigate and review solutions in real-time using a variety of tools
Assist with identity verification and account security concerns as needed
Help identify and prevent potential fraud or security issues that may impact customer experience
Problem-solve for customers without reading from a script
Provide exceptional support and troubleshoot account and shopping issues

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills
Work comfortably with computers and navigate multiple systems
Work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday
Work in rotating shifts (late night and overnight shifts primarily early morning afternoon weekend and overtime as required)
Be punctual and present for entire work shifts
Be fully committed to the customer service role whilst working at Amazon


A day in the life

What its like as an Amazon Customer Service Associate
Surroundings. Youll be working in an office environment assisting customers through phone chat and email.
Activity. Youll be at your desk for the majority of your shift assisting customers through phone chat and email.
Temperature. Our office locations provide comfortable climate-controlled work environments.
Dress code. Business casual attire is appropriate for our office environment.

- Strong communication skills in English & Hindi (both written and oral fluency)
- The availability to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday within the operating hours of 6 am and 11 pm
- Willingness and ability to work in rotating shifts (i.e. early late overnight weekend and overtime as required)

- Should have worked with CS teams (Stores)
