Finance & Accounting Specialist

At Tatam Digital we are hiring a Finance & Accounting Specialist based in Buenos Aires

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the budgeting process by creating financial models forecasting future financial performance and identifying variances between actual and budgeted figures.
• Bookkeeping: Collect organize and maintain financial data and databases for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Work on special projects to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements efficiency gains and cost-saving initiatives within the finance function.
• Develop meaningful analytics and reporting for various department leaders.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management or specific projects.
• AP Process: Process vendor invoices verify accuracy and ensure timely payment in accordance with payment terms / Maintain vendor relationships resolve billing issues and reconcile vendor statements.
• AR Process: Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices. / Reconcile AR accounts identify bad debts recommend provisions for doubtful accounts.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors in Business Administration Accounting Finance Economics or related field.
• 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting/Administration.
• English both oral and written.
• Experience with ERP is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior managers.
• Able to organize and prioritize workload multi-tasking to meet deadlines; demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel/large data sets and other financial programs and software.
• Experience with financial systems such as Quickbooks is a plus.
• Experience working in an inter-project dynamic driving common data goals across multiple departments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Exceptional ability to drive data accuracy across the company through communication with all departments.
