• Position: Production Supervisor
• Location: Frankfort KY
• Duration: Full Time / Permanent
• Salary up to $67000 - $72000/Annual

About the Opportunity (Responsibilities)

• Communicates schedule priorities to team members- hourly/daily/weekly
• Follows up on work order completion progress and post results hourly/daily/weekly
• Reconciles and closes work orders daily
• Assist the Production Manager in quarterly inventory preparations and reconciliations
• Communicates with the Shipping/Receiving team on back orders hot parts and raw material issues
• Reviews operator training records and updates the training matrix monthly
• Reports production KPIs to Production Manager
• Acts as back up production scheduler as necessary
• Assists in creation of SOPs
• Supervises Production Team members
• Works with the Production and Quality team to countermeasure QPRs
• Reports all accidents near misses and first aid to management
• Reports employee issues to the department manager
• Audits team members paperwork as necessary
• Participates in cycle counts and physical inventories
• Communicates with management on accuracy of shipments inventory levels and record keeping

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:

• A High School diploma GED or equivalent is required with post-high school education preferred
• Along with 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Min 3 years direct supervision experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Supervisory responsibility:

• Directly supervises personnel in the Production department.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training associates; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Computer skills:

• Microsoft 365 internet email JDE

Certificates Licenses Registrations

• Valid Drivers license
• First responder (1st aid CPR AED)
