District Instructional Materials Manager
Employment Term (days): 226
Pay Scale: Paraprofessional/Clerical 6
Primary Purpose:
To provide consistent timely and error-free customer support and administrative support for Instructional Materials matters.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Technical courses/College courses (preferred)
Experience:
Basic public purchasing training and experience
Destiny training and experience
General office and secretarial experience
Certified forklift operator
Instructional Materials Coordinators of Texas (IMCAT) active member
TEA training for E.M.A.T. and Instructional Materials
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge and work experience in public purchasing
Knowledge and work experience in accounting
Experience in using personal computers mainframe network systems and current digital devices
Knowledge of Word and Excel
Good human relation skills and ability to work well with others
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Ability to type 40 word per minute
Ability to operate general office machines
Knowledge of Destiny (district textbook/instructional materials system)
Knowledge of E.M.A.T. (state instructional materials system) and the allotment
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise district IM Assistant summer employees and all other employees assigned to Textbooks/Instructional Materials
