Job Summary
Primary Function of Position
The Business Systems Lead reports into the Center of Excellence (COE) Make team and is instrumental in ensuring project success from testing through hypercare for major business systems initiatives focused on manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for verifying and executing test scripts and supporting documentation training users in testing procedures tracking and retesting defects and supporting business cutover activities to prepare for go-live. Key functions also include collaborating with cross-functional teams reviewing and enhancing training content and providing ongoing support during hypercare to rapidly resolve issues. Through effective coordination of testing documentation training and transition tasks the Business Systems Lead plays a critical role in the smooth implementation stabilization and adoption of new business systems across the organization - specifically within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Duties
- Assist process owners and project teams with the implementation integration and adoption of new and existing business systems including MES and other production-related applications.
- Coordinate verify and execute test scripts for system releases enhancements and changes ensuring accuracy and completeness for manufacturing business systems.
- Train mentor and support end-user testers using the qTest testing tool.
- Identify document and track defects errors and requirement discrepancies; prepare progress and status updates using tracking and ticketing systems.
- Review training materials and manufacturing process business/QMS documents for completeness and compliance.
- Support cutover planning and execution to ensure production readiness for system go-live.
- Participate in hyper care activities including defect re-testing and end-user support after go-live.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical and functional) to analyze system edge cases and document findings for process improvement.
- Identify and escalate risks associated with testing cutover and system implementation within the manufacturing domain.
- Support continuous improvement by researching recommending and implementing enhancements to workflows and processes.
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Agile and/or SAP.
- Proficient in training/mentoring technicians and support teams.
- Proficient at quality record documentation.
- Demonstrates leadership and communication ability.
- Demonstrates understanding of basic operational principles of assembly.
- Demonstrates ability to diagnose possible root cause failure modes of product assembly.
Required Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of manufacturing assembly experience or a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing assembly ISI experience.

This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on
business need and/or on the selected candidates experience knowledge and skills.
Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidates qualifications consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives benefits and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience skills and qualifications.
