Health Placement Advisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health Placement Advisor to join the Health Placement Support Hub within the Health Group. Reporting to the Manager Placement Support Hub this position is responsible for providing expert advice and support on a broad range of placement matters including student compliance placement processes legal agreements reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with Schools Clinical Placement Officers healthcare organisations and internal stakeholders you will contribute to the successful coordination and continuous improvement of placement operations and systems helping ensure students are well supported throughout their placement journey.

In this role you will:
- Provide advice and guidance on placement policies procedures compliance requirements and legislative matters.
- Support the coordination and management of student placement compliance processes and reporting activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external healthcare partners and internal university stakeholders.
- Negotiate establish and manage placement legal agreements including maintaining electronic agreement records within ConvergePoint.
- Support operational and strategic planning to meet current and future placement requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and effective use of placement systems particularly SONIA.
- Lead and contribute to small to medium projects including process improvement initiatives and technology adoption activities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training resources for placement-related systems and processes.
- Provide high-level policy and procedural advice to students academic staff and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance placement administration and service delivery.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration across the Health Group.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of experience and education ideally within a health or higher education environment.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting policies procedures and legislative requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Experience coordinating administrative processes in a complex environment.
- Excellent organisational problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with placement management systems such as SONIA and/or legal agreement management systems will be highly regarded.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to strategic and operational projects.

This is a continuing full-time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $104504 - $113219 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $122270 - $132466 per annum.
