Intake Specialist

AMG & Associates Inc. is a leading contract management company that provides services to a variety of industries including healthcare government and non-profit organizations. Position Overview:

As an Intake Specialist you will be responsible for managing the intake process for new clients and ensuring that all necessary information is collected and accurately entered into our systems. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial intake calls with potential clients to gather information and assess their needs

- Accurately enter client information into our database and maintain up-to-date records

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all necessary documents and information are obtained for new clients

- Communicate with clients to provide updates on the status of their intake process and address any questions or concerns

- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the intake process and ensure efficiency and accuracy

- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a healthcare or customer service environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with database management

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience handling confidential information

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position Monday-Friday with occasional overtime as needed. The Intake Specialist will work in a professional office environment and may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional travel may be required for training or client meetings.
