Were recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy client seeking a skilled Solar Proposals Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solar PV solutions across commercial and industrial projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:

As a Solar Proposals Engineer you will be responsible for developing competitive technical and commercial proposals for solar PV and hybrid energy systems. You will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to design efficient cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role provides the opportunity to contribute directly to project acquisition and the growth of renewable energy initiatives.

Education:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Job Experience & Skills Required:

37 years experience in solar PV design or proposals
Experience with tools such as PVsyst Helioscope and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of inverters battery storage and grid integration
Ability to compile BOQs cost estimates and tender submissions
Strong commercial awareness and costing experience
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to optimise system designs for performance and cost efficiency
