What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)

This role combines business development with strategic account management across the industrial sector. Youll focus on growing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities within industrial chemical mining and engineering-related markets. Part of your role will involve providing technical support during product trials liaising with suppliers and keeping close to market trends and customer requirements. Youll enjoy this position because it offers real autonomy a strong client-facing focus and the opportunity to make a visible commercial impact within a growing business.

Where youll be doing it

Youll join a well-established technical solutions business supplying specialised products into the industrial sector across Southern Africa. Known for its entrepreneurial culture and strong customer relationships the business offers a collaborative environment where initiative accountability and long-term thinking are genuinely valued. The role is Woodmead based with regular travel to customers and partners. Office days are Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays.

What youll need

A minimum of 5 years ofexperience in external sales selling raw materials or chemicalswithin the industrial chemical mining or technical products market is need strong business development capability excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage at both technical and commercial levels. Matric adrivers licence and own vehicle are required while Afrikaans communication skills will be beneficial.
