Position: Executive Director of Student Services
Reports to: Superintendent of Schools and Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services
Qualifications:
- Masters degree required.
- Hold or be eligible for Oklahoma administrative certification.
- Successful classroom teaching and administrative experience.
- Proven leadership experience in educational programs and processes that enhance teaching and learning for students.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: Provide oversight for student services required to facilitate quality teaching and learning enhance a positive whole child experience for students and provide positive customer service for addition provide leadership to all staff in developing best practice processes and programs in student services.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Directs a long-range district effort to develop student service standards processes and programs that focus on continuous improvement.
- Provides leadership supervises the District Enrollment Center staff and monitors student transfer processes.
- Provides leadership and supervision for the Director of Student Programs and monitors student program functions including Special Education Native American Education volunteer services and Health Services.
- Provides leadership and supervision for the Director of Community Education and monitors Community Education programs and processes.
- Provides leadership for the District-wide counseling program (PK-12) and coordinates community agency-embedded therapists and programs.
- Provides leadership supervision and monitoring of the Districts Social Work program.
- Serves as the District Title IX Coordinator.
- Coordinates student wellness and engagement surveys.
- Provides leadership for the development implementation and continuous improvement of districtwide PK-12 tiered behavioral supports restorative practices and student discipline.
- Coordinates District-level student appeal hearings.
- Provides leadership in co-facilitating the District Director meetings.
- Works with the Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services to co-facilitate Assistant/Building Principal Meetings and provides ongoing leadership and support.
- Assumes responsibility for the monitoring reporting and reapplication of the District Opioid Abatement Grant.
- Leads and coordinates the District United Way Campaign.
- Supervises annual updates to District Handbooks.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Employment Terms: Salary and work year to be established by the Board. Benefits as established by Board policy.
