Job Summary
Essential Functions
Physical Demands: Ability to demonstrate and teach current skills and techniques required of athletes competing in collegiate basketball. Ability to travel for the purpose of recruiting student-athletes and team competition. Mental Demands: Ability to develop and communicate strategy under the pressures of competition. Ability to concentrate for long periods of time while performing the administrative functions of this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with a tenure of successful head or associate head collegiate basketball coaching experience preferably at an NCAA institution. Budget management experience. Fundraising and alumni cultivation experience. Effective computer knowledge. Demonstrated effectiveness in recruiting.
