Fulltime Permanent Up to 42000 DOE M-F Flexi Time

My client is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a busy manufacturing operation on a permanent basis. This is a site-based role working closely with operations engineering and supply chain teams to ensure production schedules and customer demands are achieved efficiently.

The Role:

Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand material availability and production capacity.

Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to minimise delays and production bottlenecks.

Liaise daily with operations engineering and materials teams to ensure production targets are met.

Review forecasts production data and inventory levels to support planning activity.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage priorities and delivery expectations.

Support continuous improvement activity focused on reducing waste and improving efficiency.

Maintain accurate production and work-in-progress records through ERP systems.

Assist with new product introductions and changes to manufacturing plans where required.

The Person:

Previous experience within a production planning scheduling or manufacturing coordination role.

Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and production processes.

Experience using ERP/MRP systems alongside strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.

Analytical and solutions-focused approach.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles would be advantageous.

Either degree qualified within a relevant discipline or possess equivalent industry experience.
