Job Summary

Digital Communications Officer

Location: Homebased with occasional travel to Memorial House Coalville Leicestershire and other locations
Hours: 35 hours per week working Monday to Friday
Salary: 31295 per annum (People & Strategy RFJ 4)
Contract: Permanent

About the team and why now is such an exciting time to join

This is an exciting time to join emh Communications team. Were strengthening how we connect with residents colleagues and stakeholders and as part of this were growing the team and creating three brandnew roles:

  • Digital Communications Officer
  • Internal Communications Advisor
  • External Communications Officer

This growth reflects the importance we place on clear engaging and accessible communications and gives you the opportunity to help shape a new collaborative team from the ground up. Youll join at a key moment helping to establish ways of working develop channels and make a real impact across the organisation.

The role

As our Digital Communications Officer youll play a central role in delivering high quality customerfocused digital communications that support our services and strengthen our reputation.

Youll manage and develop our digital channels including our website intranet and social media ensuring content is clear accessible up to date and aligned with our values. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation youll turn complex information into engaging digital content that works for our diverse audiences.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creativity with insight and who wants to be part of a growing supportive communications team where ideas and innovation are encouraged.

About you

Were looking for someone who:

  • Has experience managing digital platforms such as websites intranets and social media channels
  • Is a confident adaptable writer with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
  • Understands the importance of accessibility and inclusive communication
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships across teams
  • Is curious proactive and keen to help develop new ways of working in a growing team

Experience in housing the public sector or a notforprofit environment is welcomed but not essential.
