Job Summary
ROLE SUMMARY
Our Global Governance Risk and Compliance team provides comprehensive blueprints for cybersecurity excellence by embedding governance risk management and compliance into every layer. The team is responsible for ensuring risk-based decision-making is used and that security privacy and regulatory compliance is integrated seamlessly with Pfizers organization.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Business Resilience to lead and strengthen the organizations global resilience strategy and capabilities. This role will oversee and enhance programs that ensure continuity of operations and provide strategic leadership in identifying assessing and mitigating risks that could impact business operations. The Senior Manager Business Resilience partners closely across business units drives governance and preparedness initiatives and leverages established resilience and risk management frameworks to safeguard the organizations operational stability agility and reputation.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Design implement and continuously enhance the enterprise business resilience framework and governance processes.
Integrate business resilience practices into enterprise risk management and corporate governance ensuring alignment across security operations and compliance functions.
Lead a highperforming team that drives an enterprisewide culture of preparedness and operational continuity.
Partner with key stakeholders to align resilience continuity and incident readiness practices across the organization.
Cultivate a culture of accountability and risk awareness across all business units reinforcing proactive planning and effective response to disruptive events.
Provide strategic oversight into business resilience activities.
Lead mentor and develop a geographically distributed team of resilience and risk professionals.
Evaluate implement and manage technology platforms supporting business resilience continuity management and incident coordination ensuring data accuracy and strong integration with risk systems.
Define and track key performance and risk indicators (KPIs/KRIs) to monitor organizational resilience posture and deliver actionable reporting and insights to senior leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree required in cybersecurity information systems risk management or related discipline preferred.
7 years of experience in information security risk compliance information protection or related disciplines
Demonstrated success leading complex crossfunctional security or compliance programs involving multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities.
Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving capabilities with the ability to translate risk insights into actionable recommendations.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize risks and initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence build consensus and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background in highly regulated industries with strong familiarity with regulatory expectations related to thirdparty oversight (e.g. pharma healthcare financial services).
Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM CRISC CISA PMP or other governance/risk credentials.
Experience integrating resilience with cyber incident response and disaster recovery programs.
Familiarity with resilience standards and best practices (e.g. ISO 22301 concepts NIST or operational resilience frameworks).
Experience with GRC/workflow tooling (e.g. ServiceNow GRC Archer) or continuity tools (e.g. Fusion Castellan Archer BCM).
