Electrical Assembly performs a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on component parts sub-assemblies or completed units used in Commercial and/or Military aerospace applications. Monitors the quality of output to identify discard or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintains accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. May earn certification to self-inspect products if adequate quality metrics are sustained.

What You Will Do:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions blueprint specifications and parts lists gathering parts subassemblies tools and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring finished components.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Will be required to uphold quality principles consistent with aerospace manufacturing standards.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Onsite Wilsonville OR ; 1st Shift 6:00am to 3:30pm (9/80 Schedule)
• Flexibility to support production schedule requiring working overtime hours and alternate shift hours.
• May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be able to comply with personal equipment standards as they apply to manufacturing.
• May be required to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: We Prefer:
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing processes (specifically soldering torque tools and adhesive application). Optical component assembly (fiber optics and lenses) is also preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions.
  • Must successfully pass Collins Aerospace training program which will occur in the first month of the job.
  • Experience working in a production environment.

  The salary range for this role is 40691 USD - 76318 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
