Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to support the installation maintenance and operation of advanced X-ray and trace detection systems within a critical operational environment. This role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability system performance and compliance with operational standards while delivering high-quality technical support on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commission and support X-ray and trace detection systems;
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with technical procedures and standards;
- Respond to technical callouts and operate within a shift-based support model to ensure continuous service availability;
- Accurately complete service and non-conformance documentation;
- Ensure traceability and proper management of spare parts inventory;
- Act as the on-site technical representative maintaining strong and professional customer relationships;
- Collaborate with IT Specialists and PLC Engineers to support server setup and systems integration activities;
- Monitor and optimize system accuracy reliability and operational performance;
- Participate in technical projects and additional departmental activities when required.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Availability to work in shift patterns (mandatory);
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills;
- Flexible and adaptable approach in changing operational environments;
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure;
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance for restricted operational sites.
Education & Technical Background
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification;
- Good command of English both written and spoken;
- General understanding of mechanical electrical hydraulic and electronic systems is considered advantageous.
