The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and the Human Resource Division (HRD) are looking for a Curriculum Designer and Manager to lead us into the future as the subject matter expert over curriculum and organizational development activities. As the supervisor of a four-member team youll use person-centered principles to collaboratively create and lead organizational development efforts that foster and sustain a culture of innovation process/quality improvement people engagement/development and values-based behavior.

Building networks partnerships and earning trust will be paramount here as you influence others to engage in your training sessions. Continuously improving good decision-making skills and the ability to plan your day will take you far as you develop and improve curricula.

Some of What Youll Do

  • Provide professional consultation to executives managers and supervisors.
  • Author and develop inclusive instructional content.
  • Build online learning assessments and evaluations in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Create and manage the overall curriculum/course structure.
  • Deliver virtual instructor-led and blended learning activities.

Who We Want in This Role

Knowledge

Professionals with a bachelors degree with major study in education instructional design organizational development human resource management business administration public administration or related field plus a minimum of 5 years experience in a learning and development program developing and delivering training activities.

Or

Equivalent relevant professional experience/education.

  • Consult and influence on proper usage of curriculum- Content developers ensure that educational materials align with learning objectives and are effectively used.
  • Learn and disseminate new information to different work groups-Staying informed about industry trends and sharing knowledge with colleagues is essential.
  • Communicate with all levels of customers and stakeholders-Effective communication ensures alignment and feedback loops.
