Job Description

Project/Program:

Develop execute maintain and interpret Software Load/Performance Tests for OTDA applications.

Day-to-day Tasks:

This position will perform load/performance testing on new enhanced and fixed application features before the updated software packages are released. Responsibilities include writing test plans; designing and developing load test scripts based on analysis of software specifications; the execution of manual or automated tests for new application functions maintaining test cases and data. The position will also participate in business requirements gathering sessions the creation of test data and performance testing tasks for the application. Testing may also include application code middleware code and database tables. The position may also include training and mentoring new members of the project team. Will also provide troubleshooting and support to application development teams when necessary.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Software Developer

Is involved with all facets of the software development process including the research design programming testing and implementation of computer software.

Expert:

84 Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications:

• 72 months using LoadRunner/Performance Center to execute performance and/or load tests as candidates primary job function.
• 72 months using LoadRunner/Performance Center to plan modify evaluate results and summarize these results to stakeholders as their primary job function.
• 84 Months experience planning designing executing and evaluating load/performance tests as candidates primary job function.
• 84 months working directly with users/stakeholders to determine which areas of applications need performance testing setting Benchmarks based on stakeholder input and industry standard guidelines.
• 24 months experience utilizing the SOAP UI or Ready API tool to plan develop execute and evaluate web service applications.
• 48 months experience developing application Test Plans.
• 84 months experience planning designing developing and executing test strategies based on software specifications for a web-based application in a large complex and diverse Human Services (Federal State or local government) delivery system consisting of more than 100 Screens and more than 100 cross edits.
• 36 months experience using LoadUI Tool to plan develop execute and load test web services.
