Job Profile Summary

As part ofRisk Australiathis role provides enterprise riskexpertiseto the Vanguard Investments Australia Personal Investor business including Vanguard Super. Reporting to the Senior Manager Divisional Risk the role partners closely with senior stakeholders across Personal Investor the Office of the Superannuation Trustee (OST) and functions including Legal Compliance Internal AuditandFinanceto ensure risk considerations are embedded in businessdecisionmaking.

The role is pivotal in strengtheningsecondlinerisk management practices and fostering a strongriskawareculture across the Personal Investor division. You will act as a trusted advisor enabling sound risk outcomes while supporting the division to pursue strategicobjectiveswithin agreed risk appetite.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead andsupport risk assessmentsto enable informeddecisionmakingacrossPersonal Investor and Vanguard Super.

• Proactivelyidentify assess and manage risks issues and events and drivetimelyresolution through effective stakeholder engagement.

• Maintain andmonitorthe risk profile for Personal Investor and Vanguard Super in alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and risk appetite.

• Identifyand prioritise emerging risks recommend pragmatic remediation strategies and clearlycommunicate impacts and plans to stakeholders.

• Support the VSPL Trustee Boardand Committees in meeting risk management obligations through the development maintenanceand ongoing application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

• Support thetimelyreview and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency compliance and practical application.

• Build andmaintainstrong relationships across Vanguard Super and Vanguard Investments Australia reinforcing effective risk governance accountability and risk culture.

• Contribute to divisional andenterprisewideinitiatives and special projects as.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree.

• Minimum6years of relevant experience withstrong exposure torisk managementsecond lineor advisory experience preferred.

• Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems and risk frameworks isadvantageous.
