Summary:
The PHH Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership governance and oversight of mental health services across provided within or coordinated from the Peel Health Hub ensuring safe evidence-based and culturally appropriate care.
The role maintains a clinical caseload delivers direct therapeutic services and supports staff through supervision guidance and best-practice frameworks. It is responsible for service quality riskmanagement and compliance while coordinating programs and partnerships to improve outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership oversight and supervision across programs and clinicians
- Maintain clinical governance ensuring quality safety risk management and evidence-based practice
- Deliver and support culturally safe inclusive and client-centred services
- Oversee service delivery referrals care coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor service performance outcomes reporting and compliance with funding and standards
- Contribute to program planning evaluation and continuous improvement
- Support workforce capability development and a positive team culture
- Maintain clinical documentation privacy and record management standards
- Manage clinical risk escalation and uphold clinical practice standards
- Maintain a partial clinical caseload aligned to operational needs and KPIs
- Maintain up to date records in accordance with portfolios/key responsibilities.
- Contribute to data collection and program/activity evaluation processes
Essential Qualifications/ Experience:
One of the following mental health qualifications:
- Mental Health Registered Nurse
- Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
- Mental Health specialised Occupational
- Registered Psychologist
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Clinical Mental Health role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of mental health legislation and policies in Australia
