Summary:

The PHH Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership governance and oversight of mental health services across provided within or coordinated from the Peel Health Hub ensuring safe evidence-based and culturally appropriate care.

The role maintains a clinical caseload delivers direct therapeutic services and supports staff through supervision guidance and best-practice frameworks. It is responsible for service quality riskmanagement and compliance while coordinating programs and partnerships to improve outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership oversight and supervision across programs and clinicians
• Maintain clinical governance ensuring quality safety risk management and evidence-based practice
• Deliver and support culturally safe inclusive and client-centred services
• Oversee service delivery referrals care coordination and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor service performance outcomes reporting and compliance with funding and standards
• Contribute to program planning evaluation and continuous improvement
• Support workforce capability development and a positive team culture
• Maintain clinical documentation privacy and record management standards
• Manage clinical risk escalation and uphold clinical practice standards
• Maintain a partial clinical caseload aligned to operational needs and KPIs
• Maintain up to date records in accordance with portfolios/key responsibilities.
• Contribute to data collection and program/activity evaluation processes

Essential Qualifications/ Experience:

One of the following mental health qualifications:

1. Mental Health Registered Nurse
2. Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
3. Mental Health specialised Occupational
4. Registered Psychologist

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Clinical Mental Health role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent understanding of mental health legislation and policies in Australia
