Location: Ramsey MN

Shift: 6:15am 2:45pm Monday Friday

Pay: $ 19.25

Employment Type: Full time trial to hire!

About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a premier privately-held global manufacturer and supplier of cutting-edge visual communication event and display products.

Our client is looking for a Production Operator to join their team.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Contact outside shipping vendors for shipments of product

• Obtain quotes from shipping vendors on shipping methods

• Make necessary inventory changes in NAV

• Compare identifying information and counts weighs or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading invoices if necessary

• Utilize E-Sup software to ship packages

• Determine weight of shipments

• Communicate with Customer Service on changes to shipments if necessary

• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

• May operate tier- lift truck or use hand-truck to move convey or hoist shipments form shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area correctly fulfilled

• Consolidate shipping orders if required

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

What makes you a great fit:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving required

• Basic shipping/packaging knowledge

• Basic math skills

• Ability to read and write English

• Strong computer skills

• Proficiency with MS outlook and Excel

• Strong problem solver

• Possess a strong sense of urgency

• Attention to detail

• Strong follow through skills

Physical demands:

• Frequently required to stand walk reach

• Vision requirements close vision distance vision depth perception

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally 50 lbs.

• Frequently Push/pull up to 40 lbs. occasionally 50-100 lbs.
