Shipping and QC Clerk

This position is in our shipping and QC department .This person will be assisting with shipping and quality control process.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working in a warehouse packaging shipping and receiving items.
• Able to build custom sized boxes for shipping international
• Use FedEx and UPS software
• Able to complete paperwork for international shipments incl. customs
• Load and unload merchandise from delivery vans & large trucks.
• Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for incoming & outgoing shipments.
• Clean & maintain department equipment.
• Maintaining equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs.
• Required to understand and use safety equipment reflective of department.
• Able to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help.
• Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner.
• Safe use of hand trucks/fork lifts table saw staple/nail gun
• Cross-training and support of other production departments.
• Makes deliveries with company van.
• Contributing with the quality control process of outgoing products before shipping.
• Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner.
• Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies ability to meet customer requirements.
• Quality control of incoming goods

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and handling of wood metal pieces and tooling.
• Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs and pushing up to 150 lbs. (with assistance)

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office shipping software)

Good organizational skills. Lifting up to 75 pounds. Clean driving record.

Team work and independence are essential.
