Business Context: India represents the largest region of S&P Global and the India People Solutions team comprises of People Services Regional People Advisory and M&A. The Regional People Advisory (RPA) team focuses on partnering with the global people function ecosystem (including COEs and Divisional / Functional global people partners) India Site Leaders and India-based Senior Leaders and People Leaders to drive critical people priorities and processes support M&A activity roll out enterprise-wide programs and enable effective day-to-day and long-term people leadership in line with enterprise purpose and people forward ethos. To manage scale efficiently there are two RPA Cluster Lead roles in India one focusing on Gurugram/Noida/Ahmedabad and the other focusing on Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai/Chennai.

The Team: The RPA Cluster Lead Gurugram Noida and Ahmedabad role is a people leader role leading the team of RPAs for Gurugram Noida and Ahmedabad locations in India and reporting to the Vice President People India. The incumbent is a key member of the India People Solutions leadership team and is expected to guide the team and work effectively in a matrix functional structure with COEs People Services the M&A team and Global People Partners as well as cross-functional business stakeholders (including finance legal risk site leadership site-specific senior leaders and people leaders etc.) to create value at a regional and enterprise level.

Expected Role Impact: The incumbent is expected to provide thought partnership and lead the RPA team in their cluster to ensure end-to-end execution and consistent high performance while catalyzing transformation in process design and ways of working. They are expected to partner with the India People Solutions ecosystem as well as the global RPA ecosystem to ideate refine and drive best practices for advancing the goal of a performance-driven people-forward culture anchored on respect.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive day-to-day functioning of the cluster RPA team to consistently implement people priorities and processes in line with the people forward ethos and in collaboration with COEs senior leaders and people leaders e.g. ownership of the India people policy framework driving performance management processes partnering on employee benefits disciplinary and people relations aspects supporting M&A activity etc.

  • Proactively identify and drive innovation in processes and ways of working to improve the on-ground experience of people. Analyze data and trends as well as stakeholder feedback to look at continuous opportunities for improvement and translate plans into clear outcomes

  • Ensure 100% compliance with labour codes statutory compliances and all regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the people function and business to understand the S&P Global business and operating ecosystems and provide inputs to shape India region people priorities by designing and implementing business-relevant solutions that originate in India and are relevant for application at an enterprise level

  • Coach lead and develop the cluster RPA team to maximize clarity innovation continuous learning and development and enable team members to grow in line with their purpose and potential while delivering on enterprise expectations

What We Are Looking For:

  • 12-15 years of experience in HR business partnership in global large complex technology-enabled forward-looking organizations

  • Essential: Knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulatory compliance and understanding of the Indian talent market realities

  • Essential: Experience in effectively leading small to mid-sized teams and working in complex matrix environments

  • Masters degree in HR with significant experience in HR business partnership with hands-on partnership at CXO levels

  • Mindset of collaboration agility and change-readiness comfort in dealing with ambiguity and complexity and high curiosity to learn and digital acumen

  • Detailed-oriented approach to getting things done with quality while delivering with speed

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to diagnose and manage conflict proactively

  • Ability to balance a diverse group of senior stakeholders
