Job Title: High School Mathematics Teacher

Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate dedicated and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to inspire students of diverse learning backgrounds. You will be responsible for creating a supportive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking problem-solving and a genuine appreciation for the power of math.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Excellence: Design and deliver engaging lessons covering curriculum areas
Curriculum Development: Create and implement lesson plans that meet state and district standards while integrating real-world applications of mathematical theory.
Student Assessment: Develop diverse assessment toolsincluding formative assessments projects and examsto monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe respectful and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and minimizes distractions.
Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with varying skill levels including those with IEPs or 504 plans.
Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings professional development workshops and parent-teacher conferences to support the holistic growth of the student body.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Mathematics Secondary Education or a related field
Certification: Valid State Teaching Certification for Secondary Mathematics (Grades 912).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology
Preferred Attributes
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students parents and administration.
Adaptability: A growth mindset and the ability to pivot strategies based on student data and feedback.
Empathy: A genuine desire to help students overcome math anxiety and build confidence in their academic abilities.
