The role:
Lady Gowrie is seeking a passionate Education and Care Practitioner to join and undertake OSHC Team Leader duties to lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators for our Outside School Hours Care Service.
As a Team Leader youll play a key role in guiding and inspiring your team to deliver high-quality services while fostering a positive collaborative culture. Whether youre an experienced leader or ready to take the next step in your career support and guidance will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

- Location: Rosetta Outside School Hours Care Service Lansdowne Outside School Hours Care Service or St Thereses Outside School Hours Care Service
- After school care and before school care
- Base Hourly Rate Team Leader Allowance Worker Retention Allowance
In this role you will:
- Act as the Responsible Person in accordance with National Law and Regulations taking day-to-day charge of the service.
- Lead and mentor educators to deliver tailored quality play-based programs.
- Maintain a safe inclusive environment meeting all legal and regulatory obligations as well as NQF and LGT requirements.
- Uphold Child Safe standards and meet Mandatory Reporting Obligations
- Oversee daily operations including staff supervision family engagement and service coordination with child safety at the forefront of all decisions

What youll bring:
- A genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their safety and wellbeing
- Strong capability to develop and maintain respectful relationship with children families and staff.
- Excellent communication skills that are open and effective across diverse audience.
- Leadership capability to guide support and role model child-safe practices within a small team
- Hold and maintain Tasmanian Registration of Working with vulnerable People (child-related activity childcare services)
- ACECQA-approved First Aid qualifications Child Safety Training & Food Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) or child related activities
- Ability to undertake the role of Responsible Person including knowledge of the National Quality Framework and effective supervision and management of staff families and other stakeholders
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
