Join our HR & OD Team as an OD Consultant and be at the forefrontofhelping the council develop a flexible highlyskilledand capable workforce.

This is a 12-month role focused on supporting major change activity across our core transformation areas helping services simplify how they work improve outcomes for residents and build a high-performing joined-up organisation.

Our OD and Change Teamare responsible fortransforming our Identity into a dynamic lived experiencewhere continuous learningemployee experience and effective change come together to drive development innovation and success. Our goal is to ensure we have the right people with the right skills and attitudes in the right jobs at the right time.

You will work directly with services and programme leads to deliver change across our key focus areas including how we run the council improve resident experience strengthen value for money and make better use of data and technology. This is a hands-on role supporting real-time change. Youll help design and deliver change plans engage teams and ensure new ways of working are adopted and sustained.

We are looking for a candidate who holds a degree in a relevant field or has equivalent professional experience. Youshould have expert knowledge and proven experience in organisational developmentparticularlyin the areas of equalitydiversityand inclusion.A proventrack recordof successfully implementingcultural and change management initiatives within large diverse organizationsis of co-ordinating multi-agency and partnership working in the delivery of joint outcomesisalsorequired along with a commitment to continuous improvement andthe application ofsystems thinking principles.

This is a hands-on role supporting real-time change. Youll help design and deliver change plans engage teams and ensure new ways of working are adopted and sustained.
