Position: Warehouse Asset Technician

Location: Providence RI US

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $25/hr on W2

Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels of standard IT equipment and supplies
• Ship and receive equipment in accordance with established procedures and timelines
• Unbox inspect tag and prepare devices for deployment or storage
• Update and maintain CMDB records to reflect current asset status (e.g. returned retired scrapped shipped)
• Print and apply shipping labels for equipment sent to remote users or other company locations
• Generate and distribute return labels for remote users returning company-issued equipment
• Maintain detailed shipping and receiving logs to support audit requirements and asset traceability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management warehouse operations or IT asset handling
• Familiarity with CMDB systems and asset tracking processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow documented procedures and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working onsite in a warehouse or stockroom environment
• Basic proficiency with computers and standard office tools
