Technical Operations Manager
About the role
Axis is in a phase of strong growth and our facilities play a central role in supporting the companys innovation development and global expansion. As Technical Operations Manager you will take overall responsibility for ensuring that Axiss technical facility environments are robust efficient and future-proof.
The role combines operational responsibility for facility management with the strategic technical development of an extensive and technically advanced property portfolio.
Axiss property portfolio encompasses approximately 140000 sqm of office space primarily owned and located in Lund Sweden. Axis also leases premises in Linköping and Stockholm.
The role reports to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities is part of the management team and leads a team of 1 manager and 5 employees.
Areas of responsibility
- Overall responsibility for operational management and technical administration of Axis facilities and building systems including budget
- Ensure planned maintenance maintenance planning and investments across the property portfolio
- Drive strategic technical development in line with business needs
- Ensure high operational reliability in technical systems such as heating ventilation electricity water and cooling
- Lead and follow up on technical projects and office fit-outs such as office environments server rooms and laboratories
- Manage supplier relationships procurement and contracts within operations and technical facility management
- Manage and develop strategic partners for property management
- Drive and follow up on energy and sustainability work including ISO 14001 operational and energy optimisation
- Lead and develop the organisation within technical facility management and operations
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in facility operations technical property management or building services preferably from industrial technology or real estate organisations where operational reliability and technical complexity are central.
You have:
- A relevant degree in real estate building services energy construction or equivalent
- Several years of experience in facility operations and technical property management in a leadership role
- Experience of leading managers and technical organisations
- A documented track record of successfully completed maintenance or property development projects
- Experience of building technical systems such as electrical ventilation and cooling
- Experience of supplier management procurement and contract negotiation
You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English spoken and written.
Advantageous
- Experience of working with ISO 14001 or equivalent environmental management systems
- Experience of technically advanced environments such as server rooms laboratories or R&D facilities
- Experience of energy optimisation and strategic sustainability work
