Position: Caregiver / PCA
Location: McDonough
Schedule: 35 hours per week MondayFriday Some Saturdays may be required
Pay: $1416/hr
Start Date: Immediate Start
Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable caregiver or PCA to assist a client in the McDonough area. This role involves providing supportive client-centered care while helping maintain a safe comfortable and respectful home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with standby to moderate care needs
- Assist with bathing and personal care
- Light housekeeping and laundry assistance
- Meal preparation and cleanup
- Assist with transportation and accompaniment to doctor appointments as needed
- Encourage hydration nutrition and daily routines
- Observe and report changes in client condition or needs
- Maintain open communication with office staff
Requirements:
- Current CPR certification required
- Current First Aid certification required
- Current TB test required
- Previous caregiving or PCA experience preferred
- Compassion professionalism and reliability
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable transportation and willingness to assist with doctor appointments
