Job Summary
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and strategic planning activities for a mid-size ($100M annual revenue) U.S. technology and government contracting subsidiary of global organization based in Germany. This role ensures financial integrity supports contract compliance drives operational efficiency and aligns U.S. financial performance with the parent companys reporting standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to the CEO and President.
Lead annual budgeting long-range planning forecasting and financial modeling.
Oversee accounting financial reporting treasury tax payroll AR/AP and project accounting.
Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Coordinate reporting to German parent company and support IFRS-based group consolidation.
Support proposal pricing and contract financial review.
Maintain strong internal controls risk management processes and corporate governance.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Develop and maintain the companys banking bonding and insurance relationships.
Serve as liaison between U.S. operations and global finance leadership.
Lead and develop finance accounting purchase and logistics teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field.
12 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Experience in government contracting.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience working within an international corporate structure.
Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA CMA or MBA.
Experience with IFRS reporting.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience in a $100M$200M revenue organization.
