Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is looking for experienced Warehouse Workersto work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TN MHSAS) in Chattanooga TN. This is an on-site position working from8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
Warehouse Worker Job Description:
The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is seeking dedicated and efficient Warehouse Workers to join their team. This position will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of their warehouse by managing inventory picking and packing orders and ensuring on-time deliveries.
Warehouse Worker Key Responsibilities will include:
- Receive & Process: Unload incoming shipments inspect for damage and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick pack and deliver items for unit orders.
- Inventory Control: Stock inventory in designated locations and participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and delivery carts.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety protocols keeping the warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory shipping and receiving data.
Requirements & Qualifications Needed for Warehouse Worker position:
- Experience:Proven experience as a warehouse worker; 1-2 years preferred.
- Skills: Strong organization time management and attention to detail.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs.) stand for long periods and work in varied warehouse temperatures.
- Technical Skills: Excel Word and email; ability to learn new computer programs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
