About the Role

As the Senior Land Services Officer you will be responsible for delivering the Bellinger River Snapping Turtle and Lord Howe Island Projects.

This role delivers two high profile NRM and threatened species projects. Responsibilities include managing the client and reporting project strategy and adaptation financial management conducting site assessments community and stakeholder engagement project communications and contractor management.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience and skills to execute project delivery manage budgets risks and reporting
  • client management skills and experience
  • a working knowledge of natural resource management at a site and catchment scale to protect threatened fauna waterways and native vegetation
  • the ability to work with our customers providing extension services and project planning
  • experience in developing and running workshops and meetings
  • excellent communication skills to execute project communications and create positive stakeholder relationships
  • the ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously where required
  • the willingness to undertake emergency management training and work.

Youll be self-motivated have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain trust with the varied people youll be working with to deliver on-ground programs and projects.
