How youll contribute
APhysical Therapist (PT)who excels in this role:
- Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and functional status.
- Develops and updates an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the patient based on goals and capabilities.
- Plans prepares and carries out evidence-based interventions to maintain improve or restore function; alleviate pain; and prevent dysfunction.
- Delivers therapy using standard PT techniques and modalities appropriate to patient age and condition (e.g. moist heat/cold ultrasound UV/IR lamps therapeutic exercise manual therapy).
- Administers physical agents and operates PT equipment safely; performs necessary set-up and checks.
- Evaluates fits and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommends modifications as needed.
- Identifies/document goals anticipated progress and timelines; plans for reevaluation and discharge.
- Directs and supervises PTAs students and support personnel; delegates tasks appropriately and ensures clear communication.
- Accurately documents assessments interventions patient response education and progress toward goals.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education; performs other duties as assigned.

- Education:Bachelors Degree required (Physical Therapy)
- Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Licenses:Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of North Carolina
