Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms enterprise architecture DevOps cloud computing and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores digital channels and distribution centers.

The Wibey DeskTop team develops and maintains the app-based interface for Wibey Walmarts intelligent orchestration platform for software development and operations. They enable users to search content across internal sources leverage AI to enhance prompts and access trusted answers with citations. They also provide SDKs that allow different teams within Walmart to contribute to and extend the platform. The teams mission is to support everyone who builds or runs software at Walmart by providing a unified entry point to tools documentation and agent-powered actions throughout the entire SDLC (plan build ship run).

• Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable secure software solutions.

• Design and buildfull stack applicationsintegrating AI content and collaboration platforms.

• Developmaintainable testable codealigned with performance and security standards.

• Createautomation scripts and CI/CD pipelinesto enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Executetesting defect tracking and regression validationto ensure high-quality delivery.

• Monitor application performance troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks recommend solutions and support agile development iterations.

Whatyoullbring:

• Extensive experienceinfull-stack software development withproficiencyinReactJava JavaScriptPythonand related frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of software design patterns solution architecture and scalable distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience withAI coding assistants(Claude Code GitHub Copilot Cursor Gemini CLI or similar)

• Expertisein Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.

• Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical solutions.

• Skilled in debugging defect management and performance troubleshooting to ensure high availability and maintainability.

The annual salary range for this position is $117000.00 - $234000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
