Healthcare Assistant
Clontarf Dublin

Permanent part-time and full-time hours available

.

This is a 105-hour per week service and due to the nature of the support required we are looking to build a reliable team Personal Assistants.

.

The positions on offer will include a mix of permanent hours across days evenings weekends and overnight shifts.

.

Hours available may include:

Monday to Friday: 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Monday to Sunday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Monday to Sunday: 10:00pm to 9:30am overnight shifts
Saturday and Sunday: 7:30pm to 10:00pm

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have availability for one or more of the following:

.

Overnight shifts
Full weekend availability Saturday and Sunday
Midweek availability between 10:00am and 3:00pm
Evening availability between 5:00pm and 10:00pm

What we offer

Salary range for this position is 16.21 to 18.03 per hour depending on experience
Before 8am and after 8pm: from 20.26 to 22.54 per hour
Sunday: from 24.32 to 27.05 per hour
Public Holidays: from 32.42 to 36.06 per hour
Paid inter-client mileage where applicable

The current pay scale is subject to a 2% salary rate increase in 2026 aligning with the recent WRC interim agreement aimed at enhancing pay adjustments within Section 39 organisations.

Overall purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to support our member to achieve maximum independence in all aspects of daily living.

The role may include support with personal care domestic assistance social support educational assistance travel and companionship. This role takes place in the home and community of the member.

Key relationships

You will liaise closely with the Assisted Living Service Coordinator scheduling staff other Personal Assistants and any other identified supports involved in the service.

.

QQI Level 5 modules in a relevant healthcare or social care area
Kind and caring attitude

Reliability and strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
Use of your own smartphone to check in and out of visits is essential

A full driving licence is not essential for this role.
