Job Summary:

Our client a highly respected full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team. This position can be based in their Wilmington DE office or Cherry Hill NJ office but requires that the Attorney is licensed to practice law in the State of Delaware.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all stages of commercial litigation matters from initial case assessment through final resolution
• Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing platforms such as LexisNexis Westlaw and similar tools
• Prepare draft and review legal documents including pleadings motions briefs and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
• Provide legal counsel to clients across a wide range of practice areas including estate planning environmental law landlord-tenant matters family law securities regulations personal injury intellectual property and immigration law
• Develop litigation strategies through effective negotiation and advocacy to achieve favorable client outcomes
• Represent clients in court proceedings mediations arbitrations and settlement discussions
• Collaborate with internal attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive and strategic legal services
• Maintain organized and detailed case files while ensuring compliance with all court procedures and deadlines
• Stay informed on current laws regulations and industry trends impacting various legal practice areas
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the firms legal operations

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD)from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in Delaware required New Jersey is a plus
• Demonstrated experience handling commercial litigation and complex legal matters
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
• Excellent writing and drafting abilities with a focus on clarity and persuasiveness
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and courtroom representation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Adobe and legal research tools
• Experience with NetDocuments (NetDocs) is a plus
