About NAAFLS
NAAFLS is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation and the only victimbased Family Violence Prevention Legal Service operating in remote communities across the Top End of the Northern Territory. With offices in Darwin Katherine and Nhulunbuy we service over 40 remote communities delivering culturally responsive legal representation in Family Law Child Protection and Domestic & Family Violence.
Our unique holistic service model brings lawyers together with Aboriginal Client Support Officers and Case Workersensuring our clients are supported not just legally but culturally and safely.
About the Role
- Oversee daily administrative operations across all NAAFLS locations.
- Lead support and mentor the Administration Teams in Darwin and Katherine.
- Ensure administrative processes are efficient consistent and compliant.
- Support recruitment onboarding training and staff development.
- Assist with office operations including travel logistics vehicles assets and ICT troubleshooting.
- Improve systems processes and communication across the organisation.
- Support reporting audits and organisational compliance.
Contribute to the organisations commitment to delivering culturally appropriate services by ensuring that administrative practices are respectful inclusive and responsive to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
About You
You are an experienced Administrator who enjoys leading a small team and keeping operations running smoothly. You bring strong organisational skills a positive attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.

- Strong administration experience with recent relevant work in similar roles.
- Confident leading a small team and supporting staff development.
- Excellent communication skills (written verbal interpersonal).
- Highly organised reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
- Positive professional and teamfocused approach
- Able to work respectfully and culturally appropriately with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and client database systems.
- Willing to participate in training and occasional travel.
- Able to obtain a WWCC Criminal History Check and hold an NT CClass Driver Licence.
