DESCRIPTION

As a Client Services Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all technical logistical and service aspects of clinical supply projects.

This role involves end-to-end ownership of project execution from initial client discussions and study setup through to completion with a strong focus on supply chain design logistics coordination and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assess clinical protocols and client requirements to design appropriate supply chain and logistics solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Proposals Technical Clinical Supplies Operations Procurement)
  • Provide technical and operational input to support proposal development
  • Work directly with clients to define and finalize logistics and study requirements
  • Coordinate all internal and external activities to ensure timely readiness and execution of study deliverables
  • Maintain overall accountability for project timelines ensuring alignment with client and study requirements
  • Utilize project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) to manage milestones critical paths and responsibilities
  • Provide regular updates reports and communication to clients
  • Manage client and site inquiries including issue logging escalation and resolution tracking (e.g. via TrackWise)
  • Support revenue-related activities including invoicing revenue tracking and scope change management
  • Coordinate receipt and management of study materials and inventory data within internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and support investigation of deviations and non-conformances
  • Deliver training to internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g. investigators monitors) as required
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and SOP development

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in life sciences healthcare business or related field
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in project management customer service or operations within clinical trials pharmaceutical distribution or logistics
  • Strong understanding of clinical supply chain warehousing and logistics operations
  • Knowledge of GMP/GxP requirements and experience supporting quality investigations
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage complex supply chain solutions
  • Experience with financial processes including invoicing and revenue tracking
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging directly with clients
  • Proficiency in project management tools and systems (e.g. MS Project TrackWise inventory systems)
  • Flexible detail-oriented and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English required
  • Willingness to travel (1520%)
