Your New Role
Are you an experienced human resources (HR) all-rounder and looking to grow your career in this field If so we would love to hear from you!
The successful candidate will be working closely with PHAs People & Culture (P&C) Consultant across a diverse range of human resources and related projects and activities.
This includes:
- Supporting recruitment and employee onboarding
- Work Health and Safety including psychosocial and wellness initiatives office ergonomics workers compensation etc.
- Organising learning and development activities
- Developing and/or reviewing policies and procedures
- Supporting organisational culture and employee engagement projects and initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Significant and broad experience in a human resources or people & culture role
- Sound working knowledge of relevant legislation (i.e. WH&S Fair Work Act etc.) and willingness to stay up-to-date with legislative changes and developments
- Strong oral and written communication interpersonal and relationship skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong attention to detail
- The ability to exercise sound judgement prioritise work and manage multiple projects and tasks.
You could also have formal HR qualifications or be currently studying in HR or a related field.
The position is based in the PHA office in Canberra (with an option for hybrid office/work from home arrangements) and is available on a full-time or part-time (minimum of about 21 hours per week) basis for an initial period of two years. The salary range (excluding superannuation) is $101780 to $123797 (full-time equivalent) depending on skills and experience.
