What you will be doing:
The positions will provide administrative and financial oversight to the Division of Administrative Services within the Department of Education and Early Development. Focus is on fiscal support budget procurement human resources and facilities. This position serves as the administrative liaison coordinating to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations within the various divisions.Our organization mission and culture:

Our Juneau office is conveniently located in the state office building downtown. The position can be assigned a cubical with ample light and has the option for teleworking after an initial training period with the opportunity for flexible scheduling. We are interested in candidates who possess some or all of the following position specific competencies:- Personnel and Human Resources: Knowledge of hiring classification benefits labor relations negotiation and Federal state and local employment regulations.
- Organizational Performance Analysis: Knowledge of the methods techniques and tools used to analyze program organizational and mission performance; includes methods that deliver key performance information (for example comparative trend diagnostic root cause predictive) used to inform decisions actions communications and accountability systems.

- Oral and Written Communication: Expresses information (for example ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example technical sensitive controversial); makes clear and convincing oral and written presentations; listens to others attends to nonverbal cues and responds appropriately.

Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or experience providing administrative support to a business or organization business administration public administration finance banking accounting industrial relations marketing human resource management logistics and supply chain management or a similar business field.
