• Job description:

Senior Helpers of Costa Mesa is looking for experienced caregivers with HCA credentials a valid drivers license and car to service clients in the following areas: Costa Mesa Newport Beach Fountain Valley Irvine Santa Ana and Orange.

• Caregiver Qualifications:
• Experience with transferring clients between various locations (wheelchair bed etc.) utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Experience with using a Hoyer lift and gate belt assistance.
• Experience with assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks including sponge baths bathing toileting grooming etc.
• Experience with assisting clients with incontinence care and bedridden care.
• Willing to attend training regarding Dementia and Alzheimers. Training in all the mentioned categories is preferred.
• What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like Providing a helping hand.
• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships.
• Participate in your clients favorite hobbies (walks gardening games etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.
• Assist your clients with walking dressing and other daily activities of living.
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients physical condition mental capacity and behavior.
