In this role youll:
- Ensure the delivery of qualityprograms that create a safe and engaging environment for childrens play andlearning catering to all abilities.
- Act as the Responsible Person in theabsence of the Nominated Supervisor overseeing daily operations of theservice.
- Develop positive relationships withchildren and families using information to support holistic development andkeep parents informed about program activities.
- Maintain accurate administrativerecords including attendance and health reports while ensuringconfidentiality and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Stay updated on professionalknowledge through training and maintain a thorough understanding of relevantregulations and policies related to childrens services.
Tobe successful:
- Certificate III (minimum) or Diplomain Early Childhood Education plus a minimum of two years of on-the-jobtraining and demonstrable skills and knowledge in Early Years practices.
- Sound knowledge of the issues andneeds that affect young children and their families and experience in applyingstrategies to support inclusive practice and positive outcomes for children.
- Sound knowledge of the NationalQuality Framework and VEYLD and an understanding of how to apply and adoptrelevant policies standards and regulations into the program.
- Experience and proven ability to workcooperatively with parents and families.
- Excellent organisational skills andthe ability to prioritise work.
- Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills.
- Victorian Employee Working withChildren Check and Class C Drivers Licence.
