In this role youll:
- Deliver high-quality developmentally-basededucational programs that foster a safe and engaging environment for childrenof all abilities.
- Implement and evaluate programs incompliance with legal regulatory and ethical standards while fosteringpositive relationships with children.
- Communicate program goals andactivities to parents and maintain confidential child developmentalrecords.
- Collaborate effectively with teammembers and report operational changes to the Room Leader/Centre Manager asneeded.
- Enhance professional skills throughtraining and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and policies whilecontributing to the cleanliness and overall quality of the Centre.
To be successful:
- Completion of a Certificate III(minimum) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or actively working towardsone of those qualifications with a commitment to completion.
- Knowledge of the issues and needsthat affect young children and their families.
- Knowledge of the National QualityFramework and VEYLD.
- Organisational skills and the abilityto prioritise work.
- Good oral and written communicationskills.
- Victorian Employee Working withChildren Check.
- Class C Drivers Licence.
